Assistive aids

Here is a website with all sorts of products for dissability, and assistive aids in general.

It is very complete, worth having a look.

Also there is a second link for another website that links you to a broad variety of products for the elderly including even nostalgic. For those who are dealing more with the emotional side.

South Cross, care homes

February 19, 2010 Leave a comment
Some points I  consider relevant:
  • Our philosophy of care is to provide the highest standard of person specific care through a range of specialist services.
  • Southern Cross takes the subject of Dignity in our care homes very seriously…
  • We actively encourage our service users to personalise their own rooms and to participate in the decision making with their home.
  • Sometimes the smallest things can make a difference – and making a difference is what Dignity in Care is all about.
  • Although Southern Cross mainly provide care for the elderly we also have specially designed units for individuals with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities.
